Operates at bandwidth of 250MHz. The shield acts as a Faraday cage to reduce electrical noise from affecting the signals, and to reduce electromagnetic radiation that may interfere with other devices. This cable well exceeds the requirements of TIA/EIA-568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801.
